Boston Studios is always in pursuit of new clientelle and new work opportunities. As a production studio, the Boston Studios team allocates the majority of their resources towards project needs and completion, and this is where finders come in. A finder is someone who helps connect a client to Boston Studios for a specific production or project. This kind of connection is beneficial for both the client and the Boston Studios team, and given that, Boston Studios is seeking to make it beneficial for the finder as well. Listed below, the finder’s fee specifics are detailed to help inform what benefits are present for anyone who brings new work to the Boston Studios team.
A finder is a person or company who brings a new client to Boston Studios. The finder’s only job is to help make the first point of connection, where the client pitches their project or production needs to Boston Studios. The finder is not responsible for any additional work beyond helping to connect the perspective client to the Boston Studios team.
What is a finder?
Boston Studios is proud to support and pay finders for helping the Studios team grow in their clientelle list. A finder who connects a client with Boston Studios will receive their payment when the client they brought secures an official project with the Boston Studios team, as confirmed by a signed contract by the client. Once that project has begun the finder will receive 10% of that project’s net pay. For example, if a client agrees to pay Boston Studios $20,000 for a project, the finder of that client would receive $2,000.
What is the finder’s fee?
A finder’s fee is confirmed when the client that the finder brought to Boston Studios signs a project contract. The finder’s fee will be paid when Boston Studios receives the client’s initial 50% downpayment of that project. The finder has no other requirements to work or needs beyond the initial connection, and will not be involved in or have any say towards the client’s project.
